From Bellaire and 8 to Katy (Houston, Cinco Ranch: credit card, design, cars)

Is there another way besides I-10 or Westpark Blvd to go to Katy (Cinco Ranch)? If not, how many tolls would I have to pass by Westpark Hwy?

Any comments welcome!....I'm new to Houston, coming from Florida.

Coming from where? In response to Westpark Tollway, it's E-Z tag only....must have a transponder......automatically withdrawn from credit card or bank account. If coming from the east, Those are the only routes other than Harwin and Westhiemer that I know, and are usually better.

Of course if you are a masochist you could always drive straight down Westheimer. Even with the widening of I-10 it will be obsolete by completion. There are just too many cars coming from the west... and the idiot that designed the Westpark Tollway should be shot. To narrow to a single lane as it splits off for 59 is insanity. They are even proposing raising the tolls during peak travel times to discourage all the desparate commuters who clog it morning and evening. How short-sighted can you be?
