Default IT jobs in sugarland,houston area

My husband is in the IT field (Java,J2ee to be exact) how is the job market for the IT fields in these cities.Is it easy to find jobs in houston area when comparing with Austin,TX.

its a good job market for IT work there, as long he wants to work in IT for energy companies

It probably would be a little easier to find an IT job in Houston since Austin is already saturated with those kinds of workers.

Monster.com will give you a good idea. There, you can search for specific IT jobs currently available in the Houston area. I'm in IT myself and am planning to move to the area within two years. So far, my research indicates there are plenty of jobs to be had in this field in the Houston area.
