Default Sugarland -HOA Fees

Hi all,

1.Why the HOA fee for almost all the Sugarland houses i am looking in the MLS is high.It is between $400 to $900 range which seems to be very very high to me. Is the HOA fees mentioned are for the year ? or Sugarland home owners pay more HOA every month. I am considering to buy a single family home in Sugarland and kind of worried about the huge HOA fees, the HOA fees i am seeing in the MLS may almost equal my monthly mortgage payment.

2.How bad the damage will be to Sugarland if a Hurricane like Katrina hits Houston?

3.What are the most desirable communities in Sugarland?

4.What are the top rated high schools, middle schools and elementary schools in Sugarland?

5.Which areas i should avoid in Sugarland?

6.Flooding areas in Sugarland?

Thanks a lot in advance for your advise. I am considering to move to Sugarland from LA so please advise me about Sugarland.

Thanks,
Kar
