Can anyone please recommend a reliable pest control company for the Pearland/Manvel area? I'm mainly interested in treating the outside perimeter of my house, flower beds and lawn for ants. I would not be doing any indoor treatment (at this time ). Thanks!!

I recently came across Solution self chem (Beamer road location) as recommended by someone on one of these forums as a DIY option. I stopped by & purchased the pest solution that sales manager recommended. I applied the concentration to the exterior and have been monitoring over the last few days and am quite surprised to see the results. So far has been positive.

Good luck!

Terminix came around selling their packages a couple of weeks ago in Shadow Creek Ranch and I signed for a year's treatments (both inside and outside and termites) for $90/quarter and they waived what they indicated was a standard $200 fee for the 1st deep cleaning. Sounded like a decent deal so I decided to try them out. They did the outside only first because we were not home and today, they did the inside and my wife said they did a nice job throughout. Too early to tell the results, but haven't noticed any problems since they did the outside.

Stay way from Eco-Shield. Rip off. Always seem to come when no one was home and never sprayed in the backyard (except the first visit).

SO the other day folks from Ecoguard pest control came in our neighborhood. Had the typical sales pitch from some high school kids saying their truck will be in our neighborhood and they are running a special for XYZ amount and then a flat rate of ABC amount every month. Needless to say my wife felt for their sales pitch and signed up the contract. The first service amount was reasonable but the next months charge was double? This got me furious. So I want to know

1) How much does it cost for monthly pest service indoor and outdoor? Is it like $95 or is it more like $50

Interestingly 2 weeks later Ecoshield rep showed up at my door and this time another kids tells me his truck will be in our neighborhood? and wanted me to sign up. For a moment I thought I already have contract with them but when I saw my paper it said Ecoguard vs Ecoshield. The guy from ecoshield says sorry but he hasn't heard about eco guard. Wished me good luck and went away.

So I need to know what are the average rates for monthly pest control service (preferably organic treatment) for indoor and outdoors for single family home ?

Usually an annual renewal. When contract comes up make sure you have quotes from two other companies. Tell current supplier you are getting a better rate from one of the quotes. If they don't match or beat, then change.
