Hi, are there any places in 77024 with lots of young kids and active neighborhoods (like Katy)?

I think in 77024 every street is a mixed bag. You still have some elderly original owners, empty nesters, those with high school, middle school and then those who bought in pretty recently with little kids all on one street. Maybe another street has more young families with toddlers while another has more middle, elementary age kids.
I believe Fonn Villas, Memorial Bend, Memorial Meadows, Hollow all have women's club, mothers clubs, mens clubs. A lot of the preschools, MDOs will organize events. Fonn Villas pool has a swim team, Sandalwood has one.
All of the neighborhoods foster community.

Yes! Hunters Creek, Lakeview, Sandalwood, Memorial Forest, Frostwood. Lots of families in 77024 because of the great public schools and close in feel.

Homes right around Hunter's Creek Elem. Frostwood. Fonn Villas. House prices keep most of the area pretty mixed age wise.

Youngest neighborhood I've seen south of 10 is Nottingham Forest over in 77079.
