Hello, my family and I (wife, daughter 8 yrs) are new to Houston and wondering what events there are for the 4th of July. What are some popular late afternoon, evening destinations to watch fireworks and have a good time. Thanks in advance.

There will be a lot all over the metro. The city of Houston will have the largest fireworks display of course. Several cities here on the SE side have their own parade and fireworks displays - Alvin, Webster, Kemah Boardwalk (this is pretty big and gets crowded) etc.... So of course this true for the other parts of the city, too. Probably should start your search with where you want to view fireworks. There's way too many options to even begin listing here.

Depends on where you are in the area. If you are southwest then Missouri City, Sugar Land and Rosenberg have events.

There will be fajitas and margaritas poolside at my house. I'll also have the jetskis fueled up and ready to ride.
