Whenever I'm in the area, I get terrible reception with AT&T. I read that there is a lack of towers due to HOA restrictions. Is Verizon better? What wireless service does everyone use here?

I can certainly tell you that T Mobile isn't better in that area. People that I know with Verizon seem to do OK.

I have Verizon and my reception is very hit and miss. Had big problems when I had AT&T. I know On Nov. 22 representatives from Crafton Communications, an AT&T contractor, approached the Heritage Grand community for the second time since 2009, to propose erecting a cellular tower camouflaged as a pine tree.

I have AT&T and it sucks inside my house in CR. There have been instances of not reaching the phone inside the house. If I have to make a call, I step into the backyard. Even there, the coverage is spotty. I wish there is a cheaper solution than to have the ATT MicroCell.

I'm in 77494 and my Verizon reception is finicky as well. For the most part, it's 3/5 bars in most places. But, in my home and in some retail areas in the same zip, it usually goes down to 2 bars, sometimes 1. I have a Samsung note 3

I have had better service with Verizon (I could not use my phone inside my home with Sprint), but I still don't have 4G in my area due to the lack of towers (which is usually okay since I use Wi-Fi at home). I have no issue with calls or texting. Internet reception can be spotty once I am outdoors, however.

I have AT&T in the area and I make and receive all my calls just fine now.
My older HTC phone did have issues with calls cutting out or not connecting when trying to make a call.
Ever since I switched to Samsung Galaxy (currently on the S5) I have not had any issues.
While I don't get full bars, I am able to make and receive calls just fine.
Sometimes the issue is more the phone than the service provider.

Here's a screenshot showing 4/5 bars of reception

I live in that area code and my cell service is awful. I actually think it's getting worse and more times than not, it says no service.

A couple of months ago, I was at a plant nursery on westheimer pkway (between falcon landing and greenbusch) and they were erecting a tower there behind it... the lady that worked there said it was a cell tower. If it's on, it's definitely ATT.
