You will get more exposure from your toaster than you will from these lines.

I personally would not buy a home that close to a high power voltage line. Not so much because I'm worried about exposure but more because it's unsightly and there are numerous communities without a high power voltage line in sight. Why even take the risk of setting yourself up for poor resale?

If you even have to ask then that alone should tell you it's a bad idea. People are hyper vigilant about anything causing potential cancer and most won't do the research to ease their fears. They will just see the high power voltage line and say no thank you and move on to another community.

I saw a show on PBS years ago about houses near big power lines, etc. Kids living near them were coming up with cancers. Freaked me out enough to make me get rid of my electric blanket! I've never seen the program again but do remember it said you should live at least 1 mile from those big lines. May or may not be true, but why take a chance?

West hou, IMO youre being overly dramatic. More than half of NF8 in our hood is within 800' of ht lines, houses that back it, definitely a problem, 10 lots away, no worries, you're good.

I would not be worried about those power lines at all at that distance. I wouldn't even care if they were behind my backyard, it means no backyard neighbors!

I already use EMF meter to test it, 60 feet away from these line, EMF value does not have any influence

I would suggest anyone do not live right down these lines (never saw any so far), the EMF I test is 3.5, way higher than allowable 0.3
50-60 feet is fine, no influence at all.

Maybe I am being overly dramatic. Just a personal opinion. If I was looking to buy a home I'd prefer one where I didn't see one of those giant towers. But I can totally understand that others wouldn't be bothered by it. When I do buy a home I want a more natural looking environment. Lots of trees and neighbors not so close to me.

But how many home buyers are going to bring a EMF meter with them when they are looking at homes? Most will just see the tower and jump to the cancer conclusion. I'm not saying it's fair but it is a reality.

You are fine. In another few years, trees, etc. will block out the one on the left. There is your incentive for planting a tree the weekend you close.
