Hello Houstonians and Tomballers

I received a redlight camera ticket from Tomball area. It's 75 bucks.

Has anyone in here received one, and what did you do?

Did you contest it?

Did you pay for it?

Did you just trash that ticket?

Just pay the freakin ticket. No point in asking what to do with it.

didnt know they were active here. Most of areas have them switched off or something. What was street intersection if you don't mind sharing.

If you don't mind my asking, which intersection did this occur at?

Do you fill guilty?

If yes - pay
If no - contest
If you would like to have extra fines and problems in future - trash it.

I've seen a lot of cars crossed the intersections on red light and believe it kind of dangerous.

I just saw there was a news article on some of these cameras being fake. might want to look into that. not sure if Tomball was part of that but I know in Houston those cameras were voted out of here! (there?)

eh, nevermind. I found the online article. seems to be Fort Bend County and a phone call scam.

as for the Houston ones, before they were nixed I got one and I just paid it. if I remember right it wasn't that expensive and unless you have an out of state relative that never actually visits to blame it on it is probably just the least trouble to take care of it. I'm assuming you got the video of yourself also. kind of hard to refute those.

Only Houston switched them off. They are still active in other cities such as Tomball and Sugar Land.
