No...just the lot for around $200k.

Trying to stay around $700k for house, too.

Boating every weekend now, but with horses and a pool, I imagine our boating time would be more limited.

Thanks so much for all the input. Keep it coming.

[quote=PedroMartinez;37040280]Have you looked at The Commons On Lake Houston?

6 acres - $194k
0 Commons Vista, Huffman, TX 77336 - HAR.com

15 acres - $274k
2 Huffman-Cleveland, Hufman, TX 77336 - HAR.com

2.5 acres - $95k
1014 S Commons View Dr, Huffman, TX 77336 - HAR.com

It's between 60 and 90 minutes to Hobby. It's about 45 minutes to the Woodlands for shopping.

The Huffman schools are good but not great.

You have a boat launch to Lake Houston.

It's horse friendly.

Just something you might want to check.

And, rumor has it, George Forman gives a 10% discount on his grills to all of his neighbors.

-----------

Thanks so much!! Checking all those links now!

There is land between Clear Lake and Texas City on HWY 146 area. San Leon, Bacliff. I don't know if that's CCISD though. You could find land and still be close to the lake for the weekends.

Ok, thanks for helping me out. The narrow down of such a huge area is daunting to say the least.

With 200k as your maximum price, you are going to have hard time finding a home with those amenities here in the Houston and surrounding areas at the price point. The median house range I believe I was told is near $265-$280k and with those amenities you are looking at at least $350k. I had one client find a home about 4,000 sq ft with a huge 2 acre lot in Cypress with great surrounding schools but the price was around $375k. Benders Landing is a great area that was mentioned above but again you looking at homes way over 200k.
