What successful road projects are you speaking of?

You can go here and search for city street projects.

Roadworks

I see lot's of completed street projects listed. Are there any you believe are listed as complete that are not complete?

The problem is that the city has too many damn square miles and then there are too many unincorporated areas. If this area was broken up into smaller cities and Houston wasn't annex crazy, we'd have less potholes.

We wouldn't have less potholes
but it would be easier for citizens to hold the city officials accountable.

IMO if that were the case there would be areas with excellent roads, and others with deplorable ones.

Every city claims to have the worst roads, specifically, potholes.

Just like every city claims to have to most unpredictable and variable weather.

I don't disagree that some of the roads are bad. My two cents is that when I call to have them fix a pothole - they fix it quickly. Meaning folks shouldn't complain if they never call in a pothole. Just like folks shouldn't complain about elected officials if they don't vote.
