I am relocating to the lake houston area this spring with a 2 and 4 year old. We currently live in New Jersey, so are forced to research preschools with out actually bring able to visit them. We do not need a full time daycare, and a part time preschool would work best for us. A place that also offers a MDO for our 2 year old would be great too.

We are looking at children's first at FPC, Lamb of God Lutheran, or St Martha's catholic are 3 I am looking at now. Are there any great ones I am missing? All feed back welcome. Thank you.

We live in Atascocita (next town South from Kingwood on Lake Houston) and had our 2 yr old son in Humble Area's First Baptist Church Child Development program and we loved it!! He was bummed when we eventually had to pull him out because my wife became a teacher and the schedules conflicted, since their program is only half day and it's only 2 days a week, which may be a deal breaker for you.

Oh and welcome to Texas! We moved from NY 2 years ago and we love it here. Not sure what part of Jersey you're from, but we lived in Teaneck, NJ (Bergen County) for 3 year.

For your 4 year old, you may want to check out Children's Learning Adventure in Atascocita, a few minutes away from Lake Houston on Atascocita Road.
