I know this has been discussed several times already and traffic is always a big factor. We are planning to buy in the Copperfield or Copperwood area due to its affordability and neighborhoods. My only question is if anyone here have any experience with traffic if I work in NW part of houston, taking a short drive on the 290 and my husband will be driving to work in Sugarland. I usually start work at 7am and leave work around 4. So potentially start to drive around 6:30am. Husband work hours 8-5. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance...

I live near Copperfield and make the drive in on 290 every morning at about 6am. Traffic is a little dense but gets worse as the rush hour progresses. Where will you be driving on 290?

Your husband could always take Grand Parkway out to Sugarland.

I would recommend picking somewhere in the middle. That commute to Sugar Land from Copperfield daily would be horrid. I would say look around Katy.

Instead of Copperfield you might want to look at Twin Lakes, Lakes on Eldridge, Eldridge Park and The Colonies.
