We're trying to get the heck out of California and took a 12 day trip to N Dallas and S texas ( Houston) it's so beautiful, but don't know if I'd be miserable if people are stuffy or if those skeeters are going to eat me alive!! I gave done a lot of research, but if anyone personally knows anyone that lives there I'd greatly appreciate sone answeres.

Is there a specific reason you are looking at Bender's Landing? Is it close to an employment potential or do you have friends and/or family on the north side?

I'm just curious why you selected it. We have many people come here and say, "Here is where I'll be working, my budget and what I want, where should I look?'

Although Bender's Landing is a nice MPC, there are many great areas in Houston to live and unless there is a reason to choose it, I would make sure you don't limit yourself right off the bat when other areas maybe a better fit.

Don't get me wrong, Bender's may be the perfect fit, and I think it's a really nice area, but there are many such places spread throughout this town.

We're about to close on our lot in Benders Landing Estates in 2 weeks. We currently live in Spring and have lived in this area for quite sometime. My wife and I wanted to stay in the Spring area and we fell in love with both Benders Landing and Benders Landing Estates neighborhoods so I searched for lots for sale and found the perfect one (1 acre) at a great price! Everything there just feels so peaceful and there's more than enough room for privacy and growth on your lot. It's a beautiful Master planned community and we look forward to building our dream home soon! The best part is that you can bring in your own builder so the choices are endless (depending on your budget of course). I may be biased but I say go for it! My job is nearby so BLE works perfectly for us but it all depends on where you work and what your needs are. The Hardy Toll Rd. is nearby for my wife for when she goes to work so it's a great situation for her too.

As far as bugs, it's natural but in all honesty, they don't bother us as much as you might think. Simple treatments on your lawn and surrounding areas can help remedy that situation but it's really not that bad. Weather isn't too bad here depending on the time of the year.
