Please rain, go away, Pleaaaseee!! Next week seems more of the same. I am tired of it, everything is wet and yucky in the morning when I go to work. A good 2 weeks of nothing but sunshine would be wonderful.

Jaja! Right!

Most people will never be happy. Always complaining about everything. If it's too dry; they complain, it it's too cold; they complain, if it's too wet; they complain.

This rain is wonderful. It replenishes things other than lakes. It is good all the way around. I don't get people who have no concept of the good things rain does.

If you don't, you probably think the green desert of Los Angeles is real.

after the 2011 drought I said I would never complain about rain again. Trying to stick to that.

I'm loving this weather. I had the day off from work and the rain made my afternoon nap perfect. I also love that the temps are being kept down just a bit.

Keep in mind, my post was only an observation.

BTW, the water is up another four inches this morning.

With all the rain we're scheduled to get next week, things might get a bit interesting.

I helped a friend put his boat on the trailer yesterday to keep if from getting trapped in the lift. Since he's in the cove, as opposed to me being in a canal, I saw a lot more boat docks, and the room between the bottom of many boats and the roofs of the boat houses is shrinking considerably. I hope more people pull their boats this weekend to be on the safe side.

If I could take the day off every time it rained I probably would not mind it one bit. Meant I did not have to drive in it or add 30+ minutes to my already horrible commute.
