Default Living in Houston, Where are the singles over 40?

New to the area due to relocation, I live near the Galleria area and have been to several spots that cater to the 20/30 age crowd, of which is no interest to me! I am looking for new friends & meeting people in my area that are more my age group. Aside from co-workers at my new job. All suggestions welcome & appreciated.

PLEASE...someone answer this! I will have the same question if I choose to relocate to the Houston area. Also, I prefer suburbs.

There are lots of social functions at The Natural Science Museum in the evenings,Uptown Sushi and I bet 40+ church groups would do the trick if you are like minded.

Nah, not here. They'll take that business to Thailand for vacation instead.

Anyway, Clear Lake seems to have a number of shameless, 40-something women who like to hit on married, 29 yr old boyz.

My decent, non-divorced, no-issues-no-baggage-havin' 30+ yr old friends seem to have better luck looking for long term tail online nowadays.

City burbs you'd be ok. If you go out into the mass planned communities you'll be around the married with kids crowd.

Thanks for everyone's posts. Darn, it was The Woodlands that had my tongue wagging from my scanning various pictorial websites for housing.
