I have a digital print that I want to get framed to hang at home.
Does anyone know of a place that does this cheaply? I am willing to buy the frame (approx. 15" x 21") separately from someplace like West Elm or something.
The reason I ask is because when I call up places like Michael's I was quoted $180, which seemed really high to me. I didn't pay anywhere close to that to get the actual print, it seemed to me like I shouldn't spend that much just to get it framed.
Anyone have ideas, suggestions, etc.?

Thanks, scorpsman. I'll try Poster Frame Depot myself. OP, sometimes you can get a frame off the shelf at Michael's or Aaron Bros. and mat the picture/poster to make it fit. Also, Michael's runs 40% framing coupons quite often.

Michaels and Aaron Brothers always have 50% 60% and even 70% off coupons. Go to their websites and prints out the coupons then take your photo to the store. Both store have highly trained framers.

If you have something nice you want to frame and can spend a little $$, I use Artists Framing Resources often.

Otherwise, Aaron Bros charges something like $20-25 to frame and seal a picture if you buy one of their frames. Actually, i think it may have even included new UV glass, too, which is a good deal. I cut my own mats, and if you mess it up and have to do another, you are easily spending $10+ on materials. Might as well pay a little extra and have a pro do it (using a machine, actually) unless you want to take it upon yourself to learn the art of mat cutting

I've used Aaron Brothers twice and was very happy. The first time we went in, we didn't say that price was a concern at first, and were overwhelmed by the custom framing prices. But once we explained that we couldn't spend that much, they guided us to the cheaper options. In one instance, that was a pre-made frame and pre-cut mat (super reasonable!). The other time, we had to go custom, but they told us one of the frame collections was 50% of that week so we limited our options to that brand.
