OP isnt concerned with far flung suburbs and how dirt cheap the land is there. Yes bigger lots can be found (in some places) in what was once the boonies.

Inside the loop or inside the beltway the value of bare land increases by a crazy amount. My lot is less than 10k but is valued at more than the total home and land value of a friends giant brand spanking new home in the cypress area. Many people pay for location over land. Esp when you have to think about property taxes

Once again, it doesn't change the fact that a 7,000 sq ft lot is small.

To what standard a native born american, a southerner, native texan, life long suburbanite, someone frombthe NW or NE? My 9k something lot is more than I do with. Ive capped out on adding new plants. This year has been tiring
