Best way to get estimates is to know in advance what kind of countertop. If you're going with some type of natural stone (granite marble eat..) view some show rooms and select the style as cost can vary greatly.

We are going with granite or Quartz. Likely granite due to our budget. I know I can go look at showrooms but I'm looking for specific recommendations from people who've worked with certain companies and had a good experience
Thanks

Have you talked to Home Depot? They usually have great pricing.

Boeker Counters, I cannot remember how I found them.

They have done ours in 2 houses. The guy who installs is meticulous.

I think they also install for a big box store and another big discount flooring and counter store.

I do not recommend Home Depot. We had our granite countertop installed with Home Depot a few months ago. Their customer service was really bad. If you have any issues in the process, good luck with getting it sorted with Home Depot. They are way too big and they don't care much about what happens after getting the order with the payment at the beginning.
