Default Where do people in their 20's hang out in West/North West Houston?

I currently live in Canyon Lakes at Stonegate in Northwest Houston and am having a hard time finding a place where people in their 20's hang out. Most places I've gone to people seem to be in their 40's, there really isn't a place where people my age (23) hang out at much. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

From what I've been told, the 20-somethings are more highly concentrated within the inner loop.

The Village (Rice Village) or Midtown, for example. Some hangout downtown as well along Main Street depending on the type of place it is (though, not as many or as diverse as two years ago).

Washington Avenue in the Rice Millitary area is becoming pretty popular as well with its "hole-in-the-wall places" featuring live music.

The "hot" nightlife in Houston tends to shift locations after a while--at least, to some degree--so keep your eye out for trends.

Is the Gingerbread Man still a good spot? I haven't been in years.

But yes, the 20's group hangs out around and in the loop.

Thank you. I have lived in Houston for 10 years and know the inner loop and Rice Village quite well, I'm really just looking for a good place to go after work around my house. I just bought this house back in November and am still getting used to the Northwest area, I originally lived in Sugar Land so I know where all the people in their 20's hang out in the Southwest area.

On the Northwest side, you might try Fox & Hounds, SRO, Baker Street.

There's also a place on Jones Rd. called the Backyard Grill, however I don't know anything about it.

Mustang1 is on a distinguished road
Henry Hudson's at 290/1960
Coaches at 290/Jones
There is also a pub-type place on Barker-Cypress just south of 290 that is alright.

Anything off 290 will have a wide mix of ages though.
