Transmission for my car went out yesterday and I'm told that I'll need a new one.

Anyone know of a transmission shop that will take a payment plan while I still have the car?

I have some cash but it is not enough for a down payment for fiannacing.

I need my car for work.

Thanks.

I'd have someone else look at it (if you are completely clueless on mechanical); being 2-3 quarts low on ATF (a slow neglected leak) can 'make a transmission go completely out' with solution/fix costing only $10 to put 2-3 quarts back in, and not a 'new' transmission just to get you back on the road!
