Does anyone know what is going to be going in across from downtown Fulshear at the entrance to Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek. They have started to clear the land but can't find any information.

Just utility work.

Westpark (1093) will be widened and they are just ahead of the game.

This area is pushed back pretty far from the 1093 utility easement. They posted a sign but cannot find anything online. Current operator clearing the land is MKM Constructions LTD. and project name is:

Fulshear Market
30355 FM 1093

Talking to couple of people have been told a possible HEB Market with a town center type atmosphere.

That's an interesting idea. Maybe a store similar to HEB's South Flores Market in downtown San Antonio (on the HEB campus):

MKM Construction is based in San Antonio. Coincidence?

According to City Hall office of permits, it's utility work and nothing more.

Just posted what I was told when I called to inquire.

It's got to be more than just utility work--they have cleared so much land--and so deep into Fullbrook on FC. If it is simply utility work, then I imagine that its anticipation of future commercial development. I have heard people talk about HEB as well. It would be great to get some source material for this...

Per the HOA notice that was released is the land is owned by HEB. No date has been given however actual construction of the buildings will probably not start until 1093 is widened. Current construction is just the clearing of the land.

Rumors is that is will be a smaller HEB market talking to several people which makes sense since a large HEB is already going to be on 1463 by Cross Creek. Read an article that HEB is experimenting with smaller footprint stores like the South Flores Market in San Antonio.
