Nothing is going to happen. You're thousands of times more likely to get killed by one of our horrible drivers than to get Zika.

Zica does not kill anybody , It affect the unborn child's brain permanently . So the concern is justified.

Pregnant in the area. My OB basically said that experts anticipate mosquito transmission to spread here at some point they just dont know when. She recommends I exercise indoors and wear DEET repellent. My husband is advised to wear as well as zika can be sexually transmitted. DEET is safe for pregnant women and babies over 6 months. buy all the deet free repelant you want, but it wont work as well. so for me DEET exposure to my unborn fetus is way less risky than you know...zika and microcephally

No its not. It's more media fear mongering for ratings. And my point is still valid. She is more likely to get killed by a Houston driver than to catch Zika.

That's it. I am forcing my family and myself to live in a bubble so I can't pick up an STD and give it to my wife.

I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy and I'm more worried about what the city uses to spray the mosquitoes than Zika itself.
