Allergist in the Woodlands
My son has severe food allergies and we're moving to the Woodlands. Can anyone recommend an allergist?

You might try Dr. Sakina Davis at the Wellness Center.

Thanks. Do you have any personal experience with Dr. Davis with children?

My husband sees Dr. Davis and I Know she does treat allergies but she may be able to direct you to someone who can help you if she can't.

Lots of people I knew up there had Pine Tree allergies. They went to a group down on FM 1960 that treated the spectrum. They also went to cardiologists in that area as well. Its about a 20 minute drive depending on where you live in that community.

I also have severe food allergies - anaphylactic to shellfish. I really like my allergist and his group has an office in the Woodlands. His name is Dr. Burress and the group is Allergy and Asthma Associates. Here is there web site:
Houston Allergist. Pollen Counts.Allergy & Asthma Associates. Allergy Drops
good luck

That's very helpful advice. Thanks.
By the way if it makes you feel any better, it took me almost 35 years, but I am now fully over my shellfish allergy. My son unfortunately has a lot more than I had. Maybe one day he'll have fewer to deal with.
Good luck and thanks again.
