Hey All,

Just wanted to check on the ballpark cost for installing stone edging around the front yard (raw material+labor). I have 2 small trees (live oak and bradford pear) and the usual flower bed where i am planning to put the edging.
I understand the cost will vary based upon the type of stone etc but looking for just a high level estimate.

Thanks,

There are sooooooooo many variables in this that there's just no way anyone can give you an accurate ballpark. We had about 30' of bed edging done this past spring and the quotes were anywhere from $1200 to $5000. You will just need to get someone out there, see examples of their work, ask them if they cut to fit, what they use to stabilize the base and make sure they level to the foundation. You'll pay more for the licensed and bonded companies too.

$500 to $10k..

We did our entire front yard and it only cost me about $1500 and that included 5 pallets of stone plus some other stuff needed. The quotes I got to do the same work were well over $6000.
