If your bathrooms and kitchen are located near the perimeter of the house, there may be option to install replacement sewer lines around the outside of the house. A small bit of tunneling may still be needed, but far less than would be required to replace lines running through the center of the house.

Curious -- how else would you replace pipes that are under your house other than tunneling? (Or tearing down the house.)
They jack hammer trenches through the foundation inside your house.

PLK, you will see from the plan I attached that this was done for the laundry drain. Of course, you need an assessment to see where you pipes are.

I suggest the your first step is exploratory, get a plumber to inspect and map your lines. Then you have something you can get quotes on.

As for alternatives, there is "trenchless" replacement but this has its limitations.

They wanted 20K for that procedure on my son's house. His plumbing is on both sides of the house, near the outside walls.

Drilling through the slab was 7K.

Interesting. Glad to know I should ask questions. Until then, I will pretend this isn't going to happen, but that if it does, it is going to be fun and inexpensive.
