Default At&T, Time Warner, or Verizon

What is the best company for bundle packages. We are going to need cable/dvr, home phone, high speed internet and 2 cell phones with family calling.

Time Warner gave me a quote of 99.99 for 6 months and 144.00 for the remainder of the contract for cable highspeed and phone. Which means I would still have to get cell phones elsewhere. Does that sound like a decent price?

I am Canadian and have never had any dealings with these companies. If you could please advise I would really appreciate it.

Default best telco in Houston

In Houston, Verizon does not offer internet, cable or
telephone (by cable). Time Warner is the best for broadband/telephone cable bundles. The problem with Time Warner though (and this may not matter to you) is that their digital cable is only truly digital on some of the premium channles. Avoid AT&T, the prices seem good, but after all the taxes it was more expensive (I checked last month). Time Warner cable will be taken over by Comcast in 6 months so. I am not sure how this will effect the service, however, I do know that comcast pricing in the San Francisco bay is very high.

Time Warner is turning into Comcast in January here in Houston so I do not know if comcast is a good choice or not.

I use TVMax for cable services (which is $5 cheaper than TW on basic cable -- FitTV is the only channel difference that TvMax doesn't have), AT&T for DSL/ Basic Phone (Time Warner wasn't available for Cable internet so I didn't go with them at all). AT&T now offers DSL for a low cost without the contract. My combined bills with taxes runs about $70.

We just moved here in October and now have Time Warner for our Cable, Internet, Phone and Security System. We had Comcast prior to moving to TX and I can tell you that there is really no difference. There are just a couple of cable channels that are offered/not offered between the two.

All and all, not a bad way to go. But we recently had a phone & internet outage and they were slow to get it fixed.
