We too liked Sundance....Our Cobra car club met there a # of times....your right, the food was just so-so, but we always enjoyed the scenery. We'd also always bring guests by boat and everyone always seemed to enjoy that. And the ducks! Don't forget the ducks and the duck ____ at your feet!

I will miss the original Sundance - I liked the location and the view better than Sundance II

No I was told that they were just going to be done. Leave it alone, I think they are leaving it as it, b/c something about the county or state wants to widden 146.

OK...drove by the Sundance today...some cleaning up has been done...and it actually doesn't look that bad from the land side. Waterside view is worse. But doesn't look like any re-modeling is being done.
Also drove past Portofinos on our to ClearLake Shores...it looks to be a work in progress, so I guess they plan to re-open.
Beer Garden has a sign "Yes, we will re-open" but doesn't look like much is going on.
