The world series trophy was damaged at an event at the Museum of Fine Arts.

I'm going to hide and not tell anyone I'm from Houston. Oh my lord.

First, if you followed the story, a curator/art restorer at the event was able to repair it immediately. Can't tell anything happened.

And then they went on to say, in the same story, that it turns out its been damaged many, many times. Like almost every team that's had it has had something happen to it. The Cubs really screwed it up, and had to have major repairs.

No biggie... nothing to see, move along...

Who cares about the trophy?
I want Houston media to talk about Astros just as much as they talk about the Texans (only team in the city without a championship)

1. Please only comment on a story you know about. The World Series trophy was immediately repaired

2. What does that have to do with getting respect? The Astros have been respected since the season started for its incredible lineup and that's what ppl respect. Not a trophy

PS, it seems like you think this is a one trophy that gets passed around to the new holder which isn't the case. The trophy belongs to the Astros for life. Which falls in with #1

This seems to be a troll thread and should get removed asap

It was just a light-hearted thread. Relax dude. A lot of people here like and are knowledgeable about baseball too.

I thought it was funny with the "well we're gonna have to win another one" comment.

They operated a World Series winning season and they are going to lose respect because they dropped the trophy?

The thread is just a joke. Don't take it so seriously. I think the OP was just looking for a cute way to bring up to topic.
