We are moving to Houston and looking to rent a home with pool in Cinco Ranch. Maybe with the option to purchase. Can anyone give me any information.

Thanks

Be careful and make sure your Realtor fully explains the terms of the "option to purchase", some can be a bit misleading.

I agree - option to purchase could also be called "pay us your money and let's call it rent."

Aside from that, finding a house to lease with a pool in good shape is very, very tricky.

Default lease house w/pool

Hi-

We moved to Katy last August, also looking to rent a house with a pool. We ended up renting a home that does not have a pool. The selection of homes for rent with a pool is a very small group. We used a real estate agent to help us find a home to rent. Good luck finding a home to rent with a pool.

You might be better served to just rent the house for a year and look at homes in the area to buy (or build). We are going to have a home built almost down the road from us (and it will have a pool).

Thanks Tom, I think that is what we are going to do.
