Thumbs up Need help/Migrating to Houston

hello
im an engineer in chemical engineering, from national polytechnioc school, and im working in an american petroleum company in algeria. im 27
im writing to you because im going to trip to USA in a couple of months as a new immigrant and every thing is ready...the problem is ..i dont know any one there...and i have never been there..i dont want to disturb any one..and i dont want to make any problem..just i dont want to start with hotels..i dont want to get unknown destination...i accept to share the rent with good man ..or find a nice place to live...i need one to show me how the beggining is; at least the first week...really i see it hard to start alone..USA is much big and i have no idea where shall i put my feet.
after instaling i will try to join my company in USA instead of Algeria..because my diploma has been sent from Texas.
i need answer even negative one.
thank you so much and thats kind of you.
and also i wanna know how much is the cheapest studio rent in houston

Houston is very big - you probably want to live in an area very near your workplace so that it is easy for you to get to and from. Do you know what area of Houston your workplace will be in?
