Default Great Dog Park?

I have been to Millie Bush Dog Park on Westheimer Pkwy.

Great park. Large (13 arces). The have pools for the dogs. The also have a under 20lb dog section.

Lots of parking. They even have a section where you can give your dog a bath.

Needless to say, my dog loved it!

Are there any other doggie parks in Houston that are worth visiting?

There is an unofficial dog park on Allen Parkway between Studemont and Waugh. There is also a nice one at Westpark and the West Loop North feeder road.

This might help you:

The Houston Dog Park Association

I've only been to the Millie Bush park with my dogs. My dogs AND my kids love it there! Great place for dogs that love to swim.

How's the situation with Pit Bulls and Mille? I used to go to a dog park in The Woodlands and Pit Bulls would show up and th owners claimed they were safe, pets, harmless etc. Yet I saw a poodle get mauled by one in that park. I haven't visited a dog park since.
