Hi All,

I am looking for an expert advise about where i should stay with Family Pearland or Sugarland, TX. I would be working out of Freeport. One of my primary requirement is Good Schools.

Pearland is closer. You might as well just live in Lake Jackson though.

Sugar Land to Freeport is an hour plus in Sunday traffic.

Also, 288 between Manvel and the Brazosport area is as dull a drive as one can imagine. I'd get bored of it quickly after having done it for a number of one-off work assignments.

Pearland schools aren't any better. Maybe a little more culturally diverse, relative to southern Brazoria County, which is metro Houston only as far as the Census is concerned. Brazosport is just kind of its own thing.

It's Texas public school no matter which you choose. They teach around the same standardized test at Brazoswood as they do at Ridge Point.

Yes. Lake Jackson.

Not Clute, or Freeport.
