In the process or renovating our upstairs bathroom our contractor found mold on the subfloor under the tile. It turns out that the original toilet was installed incorrectly and had been leaking. We bought the home in December, so Iím not sure how long this has been an issue. The mold remidiation company quoted $1680 to to the remidiation plus another $350-500 for post clearance testing. On top of that we are looking at another $2000 to replace the area of afffected sheet rock and subfloor. We know nothing about mold removal and were wondering if these prices seem right. We also are looking for recommendations of good companies to use for the remidiation process. Thanks for the help!
