Hi,
I am working in HP office with zip 77070 and looking for rental apartments for my family. This is the 1st time we are in US and hence need good and safe area to rent house. I have 1 infant and another kid is 5 yr old kid and hence good elementary school is required and if there are good no. of Indian kids then it will be comfortable for my kid to adjust well. I dont have an issue driving to work if I am getting good Indian locality far off.
Please suggest.

I have no idea where Indians are on the north side and I honestly don't think there are many in a concentrated area. Scattered yes, but an Indian "hub" no.

What's your budget? We need to know that to really help you.

I am keeping a fair budget of around $1400/month for a 2 bed 2 bath. Please let me know if this needs to be stretched to meet my requirements.

The zip closest to Willowbrook Mall is 77069. 77070 is north of the mall, and straddles both sides of FM 249, near Louetta.

77069 would be Champions, however those are mature developments. Prestonwood would be 77070, and the closest to the mall, but it's older.

South of Willowbrook would be 77066. There are a couple of newer communities close to Cutten Road and Bammel North Houston.

You can only search 77429. It's pretty close to HP.

You can try this site to locate the school for your kids. www.apartments.com
Remember to check the school zone with school district as sometimes the website may not be updated.

I visited four of the apartments complexes in 77070 area (Palazo at Cypress Wood, the Villages of Cypress Creek, the Point at Cypress Woods Apartment Homes and The Mandolin Apartments).
1,400 budget is good enough for a two-bedroom apartment. You need to visit your new home yourself to have a feel of it.

Good luck with your search.
