Is Katy a good place to purchase investment rental property? If not Katy, where would be a good part of Houston to invest in (up-and-coming, good schools, good renters, etc.)

I am not a Houston resident so please excuse my ignorance and naivety in regards to the Houston area.

Thanks for any feedback.

You need to provide how much you want to spend. Also, "up and coming" and "good schools" aren't likely to be found together.
