Edm is about as fun as a root canal without being drugged up and no anesthesia.

Anyone know what happened to BuzzFest put on by 94.5 (previously 107.5) the Buzz? That's been a large popular "rock" music festival in the CWM Pavilion for 20 years, it doesn't look like they do it anymore.

I used to think the same thing until I attended EDC a few years ago. Trap EDM is especially fun. There are various genres within it. It's literally all about dancing and good vibes. How can you or anyone even hate that? Open your mind, or remain closed minded forever

What makes you think I haven't? I've given it a chance multiple times. It's......well....(against the rules).

Not the fests. The music itself.

This entire and it’s comments remind me that city data is the worst place to talk to about cultural and pop culture related issues

Similar to theme parks, are Houstonians going to need to leave the city in order to attend a quality music festival?
Hold up hold up hold up. Posty Fest..... this is a very new thing which sprang up from local artist, Post Malone. This is exactly what Travis Scott is doing with Astroworld... Houston has music festivals to this level. However, it doesn’t have to the level of ACL in austin and Voodoo in NOLA.

Edit:

To expand on this, Astroworld and Posty Fest aren’t the only ones of this nature. Drake has OVO Fest in Toronto. And Lil Wayne has Lilweezyana in New Orleans. These festivals are popular but not as huge as other more prominent ones.

Also, Trae Day has sort of died down lately. But it was once to this same type of event.
