I recently moved into a gated community that is a couple of years old. This is the street sign to my street - completed blocked from view from the street by trees. The street sign is on the outside of the gates. I live within the city of Houston city limits, but the area in which I live is Spring Valley. Who should I call to see about getting this fixed?

The next street over starts with the same 2 letters and is much more visible as there are no trees around it. Many of my packages and deliveries end up over there because people don稚 pay too close attention to the actual street name. They see the first 2 meters if the street, turn in, and we have the same house numbers. It痴 very confusing to delivery drivers.

Looks like a City of Houston sign. You can report it using 311. Or, feel free to trim the branches yourself.

Gated community = private streets. Contact the HOA, or whoever manages the community. COH isn’t going to dispatch somebody to do landscaping maintenance in a gated community.

Awesome. Well, seeing as he will already be in the neighborhood, may I request a visit over to my place to clear out a blocked storm drain?

311 has an app you can use to report these type of issues.

I tried to send a report, but it always says an error occurs and never sends it. So I called 311 and talked to a nice lady. We値l see if they bother to deal with the issue.
