Everyone thought I was over emphasizing this storm but typically this is when the Gulf gets hit hard.

It's already TS Gordon and may get to Cat 1.

The good news for Houston is that it's veering towards Louisiana although that is bad news for New Orleans.

of course you can't be complacent. but that's not the point. cBach is always doom and gloom and over-exaggerates negatives in regards to Houston with his posts in this forum. it's gotten old

but that destruction occurs because people here are too complacent. look at all the angry posts to cbach. lol, you even mentioned it yourself in the flood bond thread when you complained about developers here.

If anybody thinks that a post on CD is necessary to alert Gulf Coast residents to tropical storm treats doesn't understand Houston's media obsession with any storm clouds that form anywhere in the Atlantic basin. We are well aware, and on constant alert from June 1st till November of every year.

The Poster in question likes to taunt the Houston forum from his perceived Ivory Tower perch in Austin and never seems to miss a chance to do so. IMO the intent is inflammatory, not cooperative....

On second thought the storm is going nowhere near Houston.
