These plans were already made long time ago but they are trying to claim to actually be committed this time.

This is long overdue!

It would be nice to find a way to make "express" services from Downtown to Hobby (just board once in Downtown and get taken straight to the airport) but that may mean laying more track?

Probably an entire grade-separated line all the way downtown, so the train can cruise at the same speed of traffic on the freeway, more or less.

That's just what we need - more grade level railroad BS.

The retards that came up with our rail system should be horsewhipped out of town. I cannot think of a worse design.

The "retards" didn't have the money to do the at grade they wanted. I think higher taxation and/or more federal money for our transit system (as in getting rid of Culberson) might help.

The great paradox of our rail system. Works very well for its target audience and generates high ridership numbers while everyone else hates it for a variety of reasons.

Id trade it for DART in a heartbeat. It doesnt have as high of a ridership per mile, but it also goes a lot fewer places.

A bunch of those riders came from the bus routes that used to go more places, but were removed and the riders forced to the rail.

And the retards complaining about it don't understand that this isn't the true form of Houston's mass transit plan.
