Tanks blew up down the road and someone from Austin comes in here to tell us the orange man is bad 3 times. 4 times sort of. How unsurprising.

The orange man surely isn't doing anything to make incidents like this less likely to happen in the future.

During Obama that company would be facing some legal actions. When BP had their disaster in the Gulf and Obama was the POTUS, he stopped all new oil production in the Gulf and fined them billions. That's how you lead when there's an environmental crisis. Hit it where it hurts, in the pocketbook. But I guess you oppose carbon offset taxes? (as the fumes are spilling out).

Hint: Don't argue with a democrat when you are a republican about pollution, you'll probably lose... We are the party that hates these things and believe in legislation to tax and regulate companies like this...
The fire isn't even contained and you're acting like this company has gotten away with this without paying for the damage, don't you think that claim is a little premature? Carbon offset taxes are a complete joke, all that'll do is increase the cost of whatever they produce which means the consumer pays more and the companies keep doing what they want to.

Hint: All the fines and regulations in the world aren't going to put out that fire, democrats are the party that loves to tax anything and everything they can dream of to increase the amount of money they can waste on pet projects. Perhaps Lina Hidalgo should investigate whether this toxic black smoke is disproportionately being blown over lower income, poor communities by the racist gulf breeze.

The breeze isn't being racist today, because the plume is heading toward Cinco Ranch. Normally this would be heading toward Mesa Road or thereabouts.

Nature doesn't play favorites, but we play favorites based on the ways of nature. That's why people don't live off Mesa Road if they can help it.

I'm sure the light brown man would have been out there helping fight this fire himself. Taxing a company alone is going to help prevent an accident from taking place, it's not like this company wanted something like this to happen. The financial burden of this event on ITC will be monstrous even without government fines or taxes.

People don't really live in Deer Park, La Porte, Texas City or any other ****ty area near the ship channel/port of Houston if they can help it.

EXACTLY.

If you don't know who the candidates are, don't vote in the race! There's no law that says you MUST vote for every race. If you have a favorite Senate candidate but you have no idea who is running for county judge, just vote for the candidates you know about. Leave the rest blank.

Imagine if we penalized companies for hiring illegal immigrants instead of trying to find money that isn't there for a boondoggle that won't even be effective, since most people here illegally overstayed a visa (civil infraction) like the ones the Mar-A-Lago dishwashers and housekeepers hold rather than having entered illegally (crime).

But that would affect the bottom line for too many political donors. Also, the Trump Organization.

Like I was saying, nature doesn't discriminate, but we do. My reason to be around it has come and gone.

Cool deflection attempt bro, I guess this means you're done talking about this fire and Lina?

We don't discriminate, you might but "we" don't. Speak for yourself.
