Fresno isnt a city...its an unicorporated town. No city government like Missouri City or Stafford..... a number of first time homebuyers out there who were foreclosed on, so there are a number of great underpriced homes out there

Fresno is another small town one mile east of Missouri City on Hwy 6. It is a lot smaller than Missouri City and Stafford with the population a little over 9,000 residence. The foreclosure rate is a little higher because a lot of homeowners got caught up in balloon rate, 80/20 (with 2 mortgage notes with one having an extremely high interest rate), and 2 year ARM mortgages. When the interest rates starting going sky high and owners losing their jobs, there houses ended up getting foreclosed on.

Fresno's not a bad place to be. It's quiet and you get a lot of house for the money. They are constantly building out this way. For they just opened up a Krogers grocery store with a bank, Subway, etc all in the same spot about 1 mile from Fresno at the Fort Bend Toll Road. Spring does have a lot of house for the money too, for I looked there when I was thinking of purchasing a home 4 years ago, but decided I could get a newer home here in Fresno for about the same price.

Your route will depend on where you are working or trying to go?

Missouri City 72,000 + Sienna Plantation (City annexed) 5,000= 79,000 people not small at all. Stafford is small 12,000. 3 high schools in MO city make that 4 with willowridge.
