Looking at apartments I found The lofts and alta lofts at herman park. I really like the price and styling of these apartments. How is the surrounding area?? Is it walkable, are there bars and clubs or a street of University bars around the area? Any help is appreciated...

The area around is okay; I find it to be very convenient to Hermann Park, the museums, and the restaurants and bars of Montrose. But those restaurants are bars are in Montrose, NOT Almeda Road! Almeda Road itself is turning around, but it's not particularly interesting as of yet. So, good stuff 5 minutes away, but not immediately surrounding.
