I am looking at apartments. This place seemed nice, but I am reading terrible reviews about it.

The reviews are not so many, and some are old. So, is anyone familiar with these apartments?

Please give your opinion...

There's some brand new apt's just opened up a few miles north of these on HWY 105 just West of 336. I think they are called fountain something or other, right next to the Krogers at the corner of W 336 and 105.

Default Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I saw those apartments. But River Pointe seemed more reasonable, and I like the fact that I can walk right across the road to the mall.

I had hoped that someone on this forum would be familiar with the apartments themselves, and could give some insight on living there, what the people are like, etc..

I guess no one has internet who lives/lived in those apts's?.. I know someone who lived there about a year ago and said it was nice but expensive. They said don't take a unit that backs up to the highway as the noise will be bad. Maybe all the folks who gave it a bad rating didn't like the restrictions that are in place to keep the place nice or they didn't pay their rent on time and got hasselled by management, so now they feel compelled to give the place a bad rap because of their own dereliction..

People find reasons to complain that are on their end. Some will let maintenance problems fester, finally call and then get pissed they're not there five minutes later. Or they have a problem with management asking for the rent on the first of the month, not the second or what-have-you. Take what you read with a grain of salt.
