Hotels Near Minute Maid Park (Houston, Magnolia: luxury, restaurants, bars)

I am trying to go to an Astros game sometime in June and wanted to know if anyone could recommend some nice hotels near the ballpark. And if anyone could recommend fun things to do in the area as well I certainly appreciate it.

Inn at the Ballpark and The Hilton are next to the stadium.
For nicer hotels you can try The Magnolia, The Alden, Four Seasons, and Hotel Icon. There is also a Residence Inn Marriott a little farther out that may be cheaper.

The are many bars and restaurants around the area. What kind of entertainment are you looking for.

Lots of bars and restaurants, clubs, all that kind of good stuff.

If you like museums, the Museum District is a short light rail ride away.

The Downtown Aquarium is probably the closest thing to a proper "tourist trap" in downtown. Generally this city is not geared toward tourists, but that doesn't mean you can't find something to do.
