Default From Detroit to Houston What are the Hair Sytlist Like? Do they make you wait? or our they about business?

Okay! coming from Detroit and see all of the hair shows. Where can I find the baddest stylist who will keep me looking fly? Now considering I don't have a perm and it's always humid in Texas I'm going to be in trouble, but I'll work it out.

Coming from Detroit and I hope the sylist in houston don't have the same work ethic, Do you schedule a hair appointment and come to work 2 hours later or do you make your clients spend the entire day with you in the shop?

I'm going to need a stylist once I get there and I need one who's into hair care, good with the scissors and is on there GAME at all times. Time is money so if anyone could please help me out that will be great!

Do you need a stylist who is expert in a particular hair type? What side of town will you live on once you are here? Best to try and find an expert near your home or employer. Houston is big - there will be plenty of great ones to choose from once you are here but if you gave a few more details, it might help people on this forum to help you.

Sorry if I didn't give to much information I guess that would help. Let's see I'm looking to locate to the downtown area or the galleria? I'm not really familiar with all of the other places to live. I hope this helps.

Oh I'm looking for someone who is promotes healty hair. I'm a african american without a perm very soft, fine hair. So the Humidty is going to keep my hair in a afro a lot but I just want to know that I can choose a reliable hair stylist who is going to be about business.

MsCarmel -

I use a girl named Jessica at Visible Changes in the Galleria. She is very, very good and super sweet. Each stylist is only allowed to do certain things, but she is allowed to relax hair as well as cut and style. The only thing that I think she's not certified to do at VC is color.

I love her...and will probably never change stylists unless she falls off the face of the earth. She's probably one of the best in that store.
