Default Teaching in Klein, Conroe, Tomball ISD

Anyone have any experience as a teacher in any of these districts? I have been teaching in a Catholic college-prep school for the past 3 years and am considering moving to Houston in the next year. Since I have never taught in a public school, I would really appreciate some input on how your experience has been, or if you can relay someone else's experience. Also, since I teach history, I'd like to know how many high school social studies teachers in your school are just teachers without coaching duties.
Thanks

I have to agree with Tiger, the districts are excellent, don't know about the teaching aspect.
