Default HISD morale

Friday, last day of school one of our local TV stations did an interview w.the Superintendent of HISD. As usual, he thinks we are doing a great job but always room for improvement. Peachy keen, wonderful..etc.
The reporter then interviewed 5 teachers and one former teacher who now works for the teacher's union. When he asked for the 6 to raise their hands if they thought things were getting better, no hands went up. He then asked if they thought things were getting worse raise hands. All hands went up.
The interview was right on the mark.
Why shouldn't the Super be so positive he just pocketed $75,000 from the Aspire award. Some teachers made a few thous, others a few hundred and others a few dollars period.
The interview was on KPRC with Jerome Gray.
