Camden Whispering Oaks - Camden Whispering Oaks
200K for a home wont get far, maybe unless you buy or rent with us in Alief or further west. 77072 is a bit of a chinatown tho. for 200k, nearest to your work is Turtlewood is about the only place I can recommend around these parts if you dont have kids. maybe Stafford near Sugarland has some in that price range but its still in the undesireable zone and you have to pass thru that mess on Bissonett everyday to get to work in Mission Bend and all those communities on route6/west oaks area may not be that bad for $200k. this is where mediterranian people concentrate.

All nice locations. I have a friend near (1) and (2) and he has no problems at all. That's practically River Oaks.

There are lots and lots of homes in Sugar Land for less than $200K. HAR.com shows pages and pages of them.

Maybe a seller or two will sweeten a deal with, say, a gas card.
