Anyone seen Penn or Pitt this week?
So Sean Penn and Brad Pitt have been downtown a couple of days this week filming a movie -- anyone seen them or actually run into them anywhere? Odd that it hasn't been hyped up more on the evening news -- they usually love that stuff.

I use to work in Pennzoil bldg. and a co-worker said she saw Sean Penn today smoking a cigarette IN the building. I hope the fire marshall didn't see him. She said he was only there about 5 minutes filming and then went back to hotel. He's staying at the Four Seasons.

There was a little blurp in the Chronicle this week....stating how "ripped" Penn looked....It also said Pitt was back in LA at the new bazillion dollar estate awaiting the arrival of the twins .

Pitt must've come in for brief filming a few co-workers wandered down there and saw a glimpse of him riding a scooter in front of Louisiana Bldg.

I "think" they have also been filming in Austin. Someone told me it is called Tree of Life or something like that.

I kept avoiding this thread because I thought it was sports-related, having to do with universities.

It's possible, but I doubt it. They're usually not. We just provide the background.
Edit: I looked it up. The writer and director partly grew up in Texas and lives in Austin, so I guess it is possible it will be set here, or somewhere in Texas anyway. The movie is set in the 1950's though, so... uh... yay. That'll really help dispel myths about Texas, sounds like.  Yeah, actually, I hope it isn't set here. |
